Dear Jimmy the Greek Food,

The Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre (OCCSC) has been serving newcomers since 1975. We would like to invite Jimmy the Greek Food to participate in our 10th Annual Fundraising Gala on Thursday, November 28th, 2019, 6:00pm – 9:30pm, at St. Elias Centre, 750 Ridgewood Avenue. Gala Poster & information attached!

Objective: We are seeking to secure in-kind donations to help make our 10th Annual Fundraising Gala a success.

Who We Are and What We Do:
Established in 1975, OCCSC is a non-profit, non-partisan, charitable organization committed to advancing the full social and economic integration and participation of newcomers, immigrants, refugees, and people of Chinese descent in Canada. OCCSC started by helping Chinese immigrants only, but we now serve newcomers from over 110 different nationalities. Our one-stop service centre provides settlement services, language training, employment support, pre-arrival, refugee, volunteer and childcare services. From 2010 to 2018, we served 35,416 newcomers. Our charitable number is 130918311RR0001.

About the Gala:
Join over 300 guests, including our Diamond Sponsors, Otto’s BMW and Subaru, Urbandale Construction, as well as other sponsors, such as major banks, builders, car dealers, corporate partners, prominent political and community leaders, clients and volunteers. Expect an evening of fine dining and entertainment! The evening will begin with a reception and silent auction, where guests can mingle and bid on an array of unique items. Guests will then be seated for a full-course dinner, participate in raffles and enjoy the multicultural performances. With the support of our media partners, including CBC TV, we anticipate the media coverage will reach at least 100,000 people.
